Charlie and Helen’s wedding at Middleton Lodge’s Main House was a day filled with happiness and celebration. From a lovely ceremony at Middleton Tyas Church to portraits in the beautiful surroundings of Middleton Lodge, it was a pleasure to photograph.
The day started with preparations at Middleton Lodge, where Helen and her bridal party got ready in the Main House. Charlie and his groomsmen were nearby, sharing some laughter before heading to the church.
The ceremony took place at Middleton Tyas Church, just a short drive away. It was a personal and meaningful service, surrounded by family and friends. The church looked beautiful, with natural light streaming through the windows and elegant floral arrangements adding to the atmosphere.
After the ceremony, guests returned to Middleton Lodge for drinks and canapés in the gardens. The Main House and its grounds provided the perfect setting for wedding portraits. The Georgian architecture, landscaped gardens, and tree-lined driveway made for stunning backdrops. Charlie and Helen were great fun to photograph with, and we made the most of the soft afternoon light for some relaxed and natural portraits.
As the evening arrived, the celebrations moved inside the Main House. The wedding breakfast was full of laughter and heartfelt speeches, followed by an energetic evening on the dancefloor in the famous cellar at Middleton Lodge. A brilliant DJ set kept everyone dancing late into the night, creating a fantastic atmosphere.
