Wharfedale Grange Wedding - Harrogate Wedding Photographer
As a Harrogate wedding photographer, I've had the pleasure of photographing some truly incredible weddings, but Ranji and Vandan's wedding at Wharfedale Grange was truly a memorable day! The couple's love story was so heartwarming, and the way they personalised their wedding day was truly inspiring.
The day started with photographing the bridal prep in the beautiful bridal suite at Wharfedale Grange in Harrogate. Ranji was getting ready with her close family and bridesmaids, which was really good fun and she was super relaxed & excited! Vandan arrived nice and early to the venue too, so I managed to capture him beforehand greeting the guests as they arrived. The couple had opted to walk down the aisle together, so had decided to have a ‘first look’ before the ceremony. I really enjoyed capturing Vandan’s reaction to seeing Ranji in her dress for the first time!
Ranji and Vandan's wedding ceremony was a beautiful and personal affair. It took place in the stunning ceremony room at Wharfedale Grange, with the Yorkshire countryside providing a breathtaking backdrop to those arriving beforehand. The couple exchanged vows in front of their loved ones, surrounded by beautiful flowers and twinkling fairy lights. It was an emotional ceremony, with tears and laughter in equal measure.
After the ceremony, we went out into the stunning grounds of Wharfedale Grange and took some beautiful portraits! We had a lot of fun during this brief window for photos, and with the result of lots of wonderful images that I hope Ranji & Vandan will treasure forever!
As we moved into the evening, the couple changed into traditional Indian wedding attire for the nighttime celebrations. They looked amazing in their new outfits, and we just had to get outside at sunset to get some more portraits!
In the evening, the couple had planned a big party and that is certainly what was delivered! The dance floor was always full, and the party was lots of fun. From the moment the music started, guests were on their feet, dancing the night away. And when the famous Wharfedale Grange confetti cannon went off during the first dance, the energy in the room was electric. It was an unforgettable moment that everyone will remember for years to come.
