Otley Chevin Engagement Shoot

Engagement shoots are a special time for couples to capture their love and excitement as they embark on their journey towards marriage. Recently, I had the pleasure of documenting the engagement of the lovely couple, Rowan and David, against the picturesque backdrop of Otley Chevin.

Located in West Yorkshire, England, the Otley Chevin Forest Park is renowned for its striking landscapes, woodlands, and views of the Wharfedale Valley. This provided an idyllic setting for Rowan and David's engagement shoot, offering a blend of tranquillity and romance.

We held our session in the evening and were blessed with a stunning sunset. The sky painted itself in hues of soft pinks, and gentle purples, creating an ethereal ambiance. The warm, golden light bathed the landscape, creating a beautiful backdrop for our session.

Rowan & David were super relaxed during our session, and we aimed just to have fun together and capture this special time in the lead up to their wedding. Engagement sessions are a great way to gte used to being Infront of the camera, and I always love spending this quality time with my couples before the big day itself too!

The highlight of the session was some shots on the beautiful rock formations at the top of the chevin. As the sun was setting, we were able to take some beautiful portraits that I hope will be treasured as they look back on this special time of in their lives.
