Holmes Mill Wedding - Clitheroe Wedding Photographer
In July 2023, I had the privilege of photographing Jess & Phil’s beautiful wedding day at the stunning venue of Holmes Mill in Clitheroe. This was such a special day in every regard, and created memories that Jess & Phil will treasure forever.
Holmes Mill as a venue has a distinctive allure with its various spaces that cater to every aspect of a couple's dream wedding. The intimate yet lively saloon bar provides an idyllic setting for pre-wedding merriment, exuding a cosy ambiance perfect for capturing candid moments of joy (and the grand piano is a beautiful touch!). The bustling brewery, with its rustic industrial charm, serves as a unique backdrop for capturing the energy and vibrancy of the occasion. The beautifully adorned ceremony and reception room at Holmes Mill radiates an air of rustic sophistication, providing a romantic setting for Jess and Phil's cherished moments. Finally, my favourite space of all is the beautiful outside area, decorated with festoon lights, a double decker bus and all the original mill features!
The day itself was a wonderful celebration of the love these two beautiful souls share. Every moment of the day was joyous, and everyone spend the day laughing and smiling (I think I even had sore cheeks at the end of the day). All the way from the ceremony to the dance floor, Jess & Phil were totally immersed in their day and creating the most special memories. We took a couple of short windows to take some couples portraits too, and the results were beautiful!
Into the evening, the couple had hired Hyde Family Jam, who were an exceptional band, delivering their upbeat, folky take on a selection of dance floor ‘bangers’. They certainly got the dance floor going, and added a unique feel to the evening!
The wedding of Jess and Phil at Holmes Mill in Clitheroe was a testament to the magic of love and the power of a truly special venue. Every aspect of the day contributed to an unforgettable celebration. As a Clitheroe wedding photographer, it was an honour to be part of this joyous occasion and to produce photographs that will be cherished for a lifetime.
