Rudding Park Wedding Photograper

Set in 300 acres of landscaped gardens and woodland, Rudding Park, Harrogate, is a beautiful and contemporary country house hotel and a superb venue for a Yorkshire wedding!

I was privileged enough to be able to photograph Alex & Nick’s special day at Rudding Park. Alex started the day getting ready in the gorgeous bridal suite with her Mum and her sister. The floor to ceiling Georgian windows, with original shutters, made the perfect back-drop for some stunning portraits of Alex in her beautiful lace wedding dress.

Nick arrived at the ceremony in style by cruising down the long tree-lined drive to the house in his Dad’s Aston Martin!

The ceremony took place in the elegant original Georgian house part of the hotel. It was really special watching on as Alex & Nick exchanged their vows in front of their loved ones. It was wonderful to capture these intimate moments. This was followed by real fun and laughter as I photographed some beautiful group shots and the much loved confetti shots at the front of the house with the beautiful, columned portico as the back drop!

More fun followed with the elegant reception drinks, tasty wedding breakfast and heartfelt speeches! Photographing these once-in-a-lifetime moments is one of the best things about my job! We then took a breather and captured some stunning golden hour portraits in the gardens, using the attractive architecture and gorgeous sunset glow of the early evening to our advantage!

The evening reception started with an upbeat first dance, which really got the party started! Guests danced and made shapes across the dance floor all evening! Fun was had by everyone! I even spied the bride going for it with some tequila shots (cue some amazing photos with hilarious facial expressions!!) All-in-all a wonderful and memorable day and I hope my photos allowed Alex, Nick & their loved ones to capture their favourite moments of their wedding day, forever!
