Chelsea Old Town Hall Wedding Photographer - Beautiful London Micro-Wedding
Although I am primarily a Yorkshire Wedding Photographer, offering wedding day photography across the Yorkshire region, I also am available for bookings across the whole of the UK and Internationally. I love travelling, and when you get to travel with the job you love, it couldn’t be better!
One area that I travel to regularly is London. I love the capital city, and all of the beautiful wedding venues on offer. One of my favourite locations is the iconic Chelsea Old Town Hall. Hosting weddings of like likes of Judy Garland and Hugh Grant, Chelsea Old Town hall really is a stunning venue. The front steps in particular are totally famous in the wedding photography world, offering a beautiful backdrop to your wedding day photos.
I was so honoured to be asked by Lynn & Victor to photograph their micro wedding in London. This was such a special day, and I am so grateful to the lovely bride and groom for making me feel so welcome and actively part of their celebrations. The day started at their flat, which was beautiful with stunning wall to ceiling windows and many original features. We enjoyed a glass of fizz together whilst taking some prep shots. We also managed to find time to pop into the grounds for a few more portraits, before we all grabbed a taxi to Chelsea Old Town Hall.
On the way, Lynn was able to speak on the phone with a few loved ones who were unable to make the day, but were keen to share in the joy of the occasion. I also spotted what I truly believe are the most comfortable Bridal shoes I have ever seen – so had to get a shot of those!
On arrival we were shown to the Rosetti room for the ceremony. It was a beautiful, intimate ceremony with just a handful of loved ones in attendance. Lynn & Victor were able to exchange vows, rings and listen to a stunning piece of music that Victor’s father had composed. It was such a personal ceremony, and I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house (including the wedding photographer!).
Afterwards, we moved outside and were able to have some time together on the famous Chelsea Old Town Hall steps. This is a beautiful scene, and one that I loved shooting some beautiful photographs at! The door is decorated with colourful flowers, and we were able to enjoy time together, having another glass of bubbly and taking some portraits. The bride & groom met at Taekwondo club, so were even up for showing a few of their skills on the steps! Overall, we spend an incredibly joyful, happy and fun 45 minutes together and I was able to get some wonderful shots for them to remember their special day by!
Congratulations again to Lynn & Victor! I loved my trip to London, photographing your beautiful wedding at the Chelsea Old Town Hall and above all meeting you both!
