York is one of my favourite places to photograph weddings. From the stunning med-evil architecture, to the cobbled streets, through to the beautiful parks, York really has everything to plan your perfect wedding!

Nestled in the heart of this historic city, the venue offers a charming and intimate setting for couples tying the knot. Whether it’s a small elopement or a gathering with close family and friends, York Registry Office provides a beautiful backdrop for heartfelt "I do’s."
Located within Bootham House, the registry office exudes character with its elegant Georgian architecture. The ceremony room is light and airy, perfect for natural and timeless wedding photography. After the vows, the garden outside make for a classic confetti shot, while the surrounding streets add a touch of York’s historic charm.
